Magnus currently works at the aid organization Diakonia and has been following South Africa's liberation struggle since the 1970s. During the Apartheid of the 1980s he acted as a secret courier for the banned ANC in South Africa and followed the liberation struggle on the spot.
He is the Swedish who has probably met Nelson Mandela most times. But what has been achieved in South Africa since the first democratic elections and what does the future look like?
