Description: This tour has a variation in nature environments, and includes nature reserves, such as the mire Vakö myr. The flora in the mire is quite unique. The tour also crosses Siggaboda nature reserve, a virgin forest with boulders, lakes and a lot of trees that toppled over in a major storm. The southern part of the tour is a bit hilly, the northern part has more of an open agriculture landscape.
Gärdslevargens koja is also worth a visit. It´s a little hut where, according to the legend, the Gärdslevargen (a man called “Fence wolf”) lived. At Linné’s Råshult there is plenty to see. It’s an 18th century culture landscape where the scientist Carl von Linné was born. Adjacent to the culture reserve is a garden café where you may have a nice cup of coffee. This Eastern tour is mostly on gravelled roads, partly on paved roads.
