Civil War totally met my expectations. It's not an "action" movie; it's more art-house character-driven. There is action, but it's more personal. It is very tense and apolitical. The director did a fantastic job avoiding politics. Anyone saying it leans left or right is reaching.
Alex Garland is a thoughtful director, and it shows in this film. The movie takes its time but in a good way. The use of music is top-notch The initial freakout was unwarranted. I give it an 8/10."
